We advocate for good healthy through improved hygiene, nutritional status, malaria control, immunization, reproductive health, and prevention of HIV/AIDS among vulnerable and underserved communities.
We empower impoverished communities to undertake income projects such as fish farming, bee keeping, improved poultry keeping, piggery farming, goat rearing, fruit farming etc for their improved nutrition and household income.
Babirye Kabanda Development Foundation(BKDF) is a non- profit-making organization founded by Mrs. Babirye Mary Kabanda. BKDF is fully registered as an Indigenous Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) on file No. MIA/NB/2017/11/150 under registration number 0187INDR1414150NB and permit number 0187INP000150NB. The organization was registered on 13th day of November 2017.

Babirye Kabanda Development Foundation (BKDF) has received 30 boxes of Science Laboratory Equipment from Lab Aid International UK.
These science laboratory equipment will be distributed among secondary schools under Southern Buganda Private Schools Association that are in dare need of these apparatuses.
Great thanks to Lab Aid international, we are so grateful and we are sure that these apparatuses will help our schools to boost the performance of science subjects among schools that will benefit.
On 8/5/2025 , The Executive director, staff and volunteers of Babirye Kabanda Development Foundation (BKDF),
were at Nkuke St. Andrew's primary school distributing mattresses, Bedsheets, blankets, basins,
books and other scholastic materials to children in Masaka
district to help needy children get access to education.
We realized that with out good sleep, children can not concentrate in class to achieve better results.
With the help of our friends from Canada, sleeping children around the world, we were able
to distribute scholastic materials to more than 500 children in Masaka district.
Pupils who were under the bursary scheme at St. Mary’s Junior school Masaka who were supported by Babirye Kabanda Development Foundation (BKDF) performed very well with first grades in their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE). These are the needy, orphans and neglected children who were Under the care of Babirye Kabanda Development Foundation (BKDF). We kindly request whoever can support these children for secondary education is highly appreciated.
